In the world of pool cleaning solutions, BWT Robotics, an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and producing robotic pool cleaners that make pool maintenance easier and more efficient, BWT Robotics has been the backbone of the industry, responsible for the innovation, quality, and performance of robotic pool cleaner systems used by homeowners, pool service companies, and commercial establishments for over 30 years, with a huge network of customers in more than 25 countries.

In 2019 BWT Robotics (Aquatron than) was acquired by the BWT Group, Best Water Technology, a global leader in water treatment technology, developing products and processes that are eco-friendly and cost-effective for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. This acquisition provided BWT Robotics with much-needed strong backing and created the opportunity to enter new countries and markets.

As part of BWT Group strong support in BWT Robotics, A new facility was built in Alon Tavor Indusatrial Zone, in Israel.

BWT Robotics R&D Department

BWT Robotics works with pool cleaner brands to design and engineer the product according to the specified requirements. This includes the design of the cleaning mechanisms, the power supply system, and the overall look and feel of the device.

BWT Robotics Engineers ensure that the product is built to perform optimally in a wide range of conditions—whether the pool is above-ground or in-ground, or whether the water is saltwater or chlorinated.

Through research and development, BTW Robotics offers customized or specialized models designed for different customer needs, such as pool cleaners specifically made for large commercial pools or smaller, more affordable models for residential use.

About BWT Robotics

The Research and Development (R&D) department in BWT Robotics, led by Mr. Sharon Shulshtain, plays a critical role in enhancing product performance, driving innovation, and ensuring sustainability in the ever-evolving pool cleaning industry.

The R&D department focuses on designing and creating new, advanced cleaning technologies that improve the efficiency, durability, and usability of pool cleaners.
Incorporating features such as Wi-Fi connectivity, and smartphone apps for remote control, and automation allows pool cleaners to offer greater convenience and control for users is also one of the main goals of the R&D department in BWT Robotics.

Focus RD

The team is also focused on new technologies that reduce power consumption and increase energy efficiency to help in creating environmentally friendly and cost-effective products and also designing pool cleaners that are easy to use, maintain, and troubleshoot, improving customer satisfaction.

Through research, the R&D department develops pool cleaners that are effective for a wide range of pool shapes, sizes, and surface materials (e.g., tile, vinyl, or fiberglass). This ensures that customers with diverse pool setups can still benefit from superior cleaning.
